Fifteen wanted timber smugglers arrested in Sopore

SRINAGAR, July 21:

Jammu and Kashmir police arrested 15 wanted timber smugglers in Sopore in north Kashmir district of Baramulla during nocturnal raids, official sources said here today.
They said police conducted night raids at Cherhaar forest in Sopore and arrested them.
The accused were involved in forest smuggling in Kandi forest range in Sopore, they further said.
A case has been registered under relevant sections and further investigations were underway, the sources added. (UNI)
