FICCI FLO JKL organizes health camp for sanitation workers

JAMMU, Apr 30: A health camp was organized today at Town Hall, here for the Safai Karamcharis of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) by FICCI FLO Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Chapter in collaboration with JMC and ASCOMS Hospital.
Mayor Jammu, Rajinder Sharma inaugurated the health camp in the presence of Rahul Yadav (Commissioner, JMC). Other dignitaries present on the occasion included Varuna Anand (chairperson, FICCI FLO JKL), Devinder Batra (chairperson ASCOMS), Dr Pawan Malhotra (Principal, ASCOMS0 and Bhisham Batra (Director, Batra Group). The senior leadership team of FICCI FLO JKL including Ruchika Gupta (senior vice chairperson), Mona Saraf (secretary) and Chandni Kapoor (joint secretary) was also present.
A team of highly qualified doctors from ASCOMS including Dr Supinder Singh, Dr Rajat Bral, Dr Sunakshi Sharma, Dr Gazal Kaur and Dr Divyanshu Saini volunteered on the occasion and carried out detailed health checkup for the Safai Karamcharis. Multivitamins and some other essential medicines were provided and all those who needed further treatments were referred to ASCOMS.
On this occasion, the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat, the podcast by Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi was also screened for the benefit of the participants. Speaking on the occasion, Jammu Mayor appreciated the initiative taken by FICCI FLO JKL and ASCOMS Hospital in organizing the health camp for the workers of JMC who work in remote areas and in tough environments to ensure that the citizens of Jammu have a clean and healthy city.
