FICCI FLO JKL delegation meets Amritsar counterpart, discusses mutual trade, cultural exchange

JAMMU, Oct 31: Founding chairperson FICCI FLO JKL, Ritu Singh led a delegation of women entrepreneurs to Amritsar on a two day visit to broaden the prospects of business, trade and industry.
A meeting was held at Amritsar DIC office which was chaired by General Manager, Manavpreet Singh Jaj and DFO MSME Jammu, Rajesh Kumar.

Ritu Singh gave a detailed power point presentation with details of entrepreneur’s business interests and the initiatives undertaken by FICCI FLO Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh and stressed upon the need for involving women entrepreneurs at all trade fairs, expos and exhibitions that are held in Amritsar for her member group.
This was followed by Wagah Border visit where the FICCI FLO JKL delegation met MoS Defence Ajay Bhat and GoC Major General Rajesh Pushkar and other officials who assured the FLO delegation of full support.
As an outreach to their brothers in uniform the delegation presented a heartwarming banner for the post which was handcrafted befittingly with a slogan that read ‘Har Behan Ki Tum Ho Shaan, Mere Bharat Ke Veer Jawan’ along with Jammu’s famous Patissa and chocolate Barfi of Jammu and a beautiful print of Radha Krishana from Basholi School of Art.
The delegation also paid obeisance at Golden Temple and prayed for peace and health to the people of J&K and rest of India.
A meeting was also hosted by FICCI FLO Amritsar chapter chairperson, Shikha Sareen in which the two chairpersons decided to collaborate on trade, business and promotion for members of both chapters to boost economy and cultural exchange of the two regions.
Varuna Anand, Kritika Khanna, Sona Mehta, Payal Saraf, Mona Saraf, Sarika Sachdev, Simmi Gulhati, Neha Mahajan, Sita Anand and Ridhima Dewan were present in the delegation.
