KATRA, July 31: An elderly female pilgrim from Uttar Pradesh died here today because of cardiac arrest while on way to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine.
The deceased was identified as Rama Devi (70), wife of Ghansham Gupta of Haria Bazar, tehsil and District Balrampur (UP). She suddenly fell unconscious near Pony Stand. She was immediately shifted to Dispensary Bhawan where doctors declared her as brought dead.
She was accompanied by her family members.
