UDHAMPUR, July 11: With the arrest of a female among two burglars, Udhampur Police have solved a theft case that took place on July 7 at the house of one Karnail Chand son of Shiv Ram of Incha, Tehsil Ramnagar
During investigation, the Police team of PS Ramnagar rounded up several suspects for questioning. Two of the suspects, who confessed to the crime during sustained interrogation, were identified as Sanjay Kumar, son of Bhagat Kumar of Chakal, Tehsil Basantgarh, presently residing at Jakhani and Kaushaliya Devi wife of Romesh Singh of Marta, Tehsil Ramnagar.
On disclosure, the Police team recovered the entire stolen jewellery worth Rs one lakh approximately from the possession of the accused.
Both accused have been arrested and further investigation is underway.
