Federation of Automobile Dealers Association holds meet, discusses issues

JAMMU, Jan 6: A joint meeting of all Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) members was held to discuss the various issues being faced by the auto dealers’ fraternity.
The meeting was chaired by Sanjay Aggarwal Chairperson FADA Jammu Chapter, Sanjay Mahajan Regional Director and Sahil Mahajan Regional Manager. Other Prominent members present were Pardeep Jain, Vikas Rathore, Vineet Aggarwal, Prateek Jain, Bhushan Khajuria and Ashish Gupta.
In the meeting, the Association aimed to address the challenges and opportunities in post pandemic times, avenues need to be viable and for sustenance of auto retail business, preparedness required for facing disruptions due to the advent of newer technologies, advent of new fuels and other such concerns.
All the members of the Association were in agreement to the key digitalization online services including online upload of trade certificates, vehicle registration and online licenses etc to streamline the automobile procedures. Moreover, out of several key proposals, the association emphasized on the introduction of key projects like the provision of CNG petrol pumps in the region which will provide alternate eco-friendly fuel option and initiation of radio taxi which will enhance self-employment and will better the public transport system in the Union Territory.
The Association is committed to adapt the digital scenarios and also dedicated to come forward for the betterment of the society in every best possible way.
