JAMMU, Jan 27: The Finance Department today authorized further funds to the Government departments under Revenue budget for the financial year of 2025-26.
An order to this effect was issued today by the Finance Department.

“The Finance Department conveys authorization to release of funds to the extent of re-worked figures under Revised Estimates 2025-26 including additional funds in respect of eight heads in favour of all Department for the current year of 2025-26,” the order read.
Eight heads include Salary, Honorarium and Remuneration, Stipend and Scholarship, Diet Expenses, Wages (Outsourcing), Pensionary charges (NPS), Leave Encashment and Electricity charges,
However, utilization of funds shall be subject to detailed conditions as stipulated by the Government in an order of April 9, 2025.
The additional funds over and above the Budgetary Estimates 2025-26 shall be got approved by the Legislative Assembly through supplementary grants at appropriate time, the Finance Department order said.
It added that release of further funds under Other Details Heads shall be considered on case-to-case basis.
