JAMMU, Jan 10: The Finance Department has authorized the release of 90% of Budget Estimates (BE) 2024-25 or reworked figures of Revised Estimates (RE) 2024-25, whichever is lower, under key revenue heads.

As per an order, the funds, allocated through BEAMS, cover salaries, honorarium, stipends, scholarships, diet expenses, outsourcing wages, pension charges (NPS), and leave encashment for all the Departments.
“However, the utilisation of funds so authorized shall be subject to the detailed conditions as stipulated vide Government order number 268-F of 2024 dated September 16, 2024,” read an order issued by Shafaat Yehya, Joint Director Budget, Finance Department.
