No amount of words can heal the wounds of sudden and untimely deaths of several passengers and severe injuries to hundreds others in the fatal train accident on 19-8-2017 in Muzaffarpur (UP).
Those who were heading towards their destination with the plan to come back soon, left this world for ever. Criminal negligence on the part of the worker engaged on the repair work of the broken track at the site where accident occurred and gap of communication to apprise concerned agencies about the position of the track under repair, has resulted into such tearful scenario. Dereliction of duty at any point of time is a heinous crime as playing with lives of others can never be justifiable. The railway should, therefore, leave no stone unturned to ensure safety and security of the passengers besides providing the facilities needed during such journeys.
