Farooq Khan accuses Omar of playing communal card

RAJOURI, Apr 5:-Lashing out at Omar Abdullah Government, BJP leader Farooq Khan (retd.IGP) today said “by playing the communal card, Chief Minister is trying to divert attention from the “failures” of his governance and deliberately spitting Venom against the BJP and its Prime Ministerial candidate Narinder Modi.
Addressing the series of election rallies at Chingus, Kallar, Bathuni, Jawhar Nagar and Rajouri town of the district Rajouri, former IGP who recently joined the BJP said “since Omar Abdullah has nothing to show as his performance report to the people at the end of his tenure, he is resorting to lies and concocted stories to divert attention of people from the reality by repeatedly abusing Mr Modi.
Terming the NC-Congress coalition led by Omar Abdulha a “complete failure” Farooq Khan said the people of Jammu and Kashmir are fed up with the “non-performance, mis-governance, instability and corruption” of the State government which led to the anarchy and governance crisis in the State and appealed the people to Vote for BJP to fulfill the dreams of former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee.
Khan said since independence Congress did nothing for the Muslims and always created fear of BJP to befool the Muslims, he added. Addressing the rallies BJP State vice president advocate Vibodh Gupta said that the BJP is only option for the people of Rajouri-Poonch as Congress MP failed to address the long pending issues of the twin border districts. He said during the NDA rule led by Atal Behari Vajpayee, peace and harmony flourished in Jammu & Kashmir but Congress led Union government failed to carry forward the Vajpayee’s agenda of peace, harmony and development. Senior BJP leader Kuldeep Raj Gupta, BJYM State president Ravinder Raina, Yougesh Sharma, Rajinder Gupta, Talib Hussain, Dinesh Sharma, Ranjeet Tara, Vijay Gupta Pradhan, Varun Chandan and Nishu Gupta also addressed the rallies and seek vote for BJP candidate Jugal Kishore Sharma.
