CHENNAI: National Conference leader and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah today met M Karunanidhi here and expressed hope that DMK would do well in the coming assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.
“I am sure he will do very well in the coming elections; his party will do well and I wish him best of luck,” Abdullah told reporters after meeting the 91-year old Karunanidhi at his Gopalapuram residence.
Karunanidhi “is like my father,” the NC leader said adding he therefore made it a point to visit the DMK chief every time he visited the southern city. (AGENCIES)
