Farewell accorded to retirees

JAMMU, Nov 1: Various Government employees who retired on October 31, 2013, were accorded warm and affectionate farewell at several functions held by their officers and colleagues in their respective offices and elsewhere.
Senior trade unionist, former general secretary of BAMCEF (J&K unit), President BEF, State coordinator Central State Government Employees Forum, North Zone, Comrade Chaman Lal Sangotra (Dogra) was given an emotional send off on his retirement at a function held at JDA Park, Janipur Jammu. Prominent speakers included O P Suraj, P Sharma, J D Dhoba, N T Rao, B Lalsar Walia, Jyoti Dinda, Bansi Lal Chandel and Pritam Ji. All wished him good luck in all spheres of life.
An affectionate farewell functionwas organized by employees of Animal Husbandry Department, Block Marh on the superannuation of Darshan Lal ATT, who retired on October 31, 2013 after serving the department for 39 years with zeal and dedication. All wished him a happy and healthy post retirement life.
An impressive function was held at GGHSS Rehari Jammu in honour of M K Gupta, Master, on his attaining age of superannuation on October 31. Principal Sanjay Kumar Zurshi and other staff members recalled and praised the services rendered by him during 32 years of service and wished happy, healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
Ghulam Qadir Hajam, an employee of Information Department was given a warm send of on his retirement at a function organized by Non Gazetted Employees Union of Information Department today. Joint Director Information Kashmir, Shafqat Iqbal and other officers present on the occasion praised Qadir for his honesty, hard work and dedication towards duty. They wished him a happy and contended post retirement life.
