UDHAMPUR, May 14: Four members of a family were injured when their car collided with a truck on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway near village Sarmoli, here today.
The accident took place when the car, bearing registration number JK04B-8886, on way from Jammu to Srinagar, was hit by a truck coming from the opposite direction. The truck driver fled from the spot along with the vehicle while the injured where rushed to Udhampur hospital where their condition was stated to be stable.
Their identity was established as Javed Ahmed of Srinagar, his wife Ruksana Begum, daughter Anusha and Janveer Ahmed son of Gulam Mohd.
