JAMMU, Oct 14: Crime Branch Jammu has booked one Shamas-ud-Din of Majeen Sidhra Jammu, along with some other criminal elements for fraudulently preparing fake NOC in order to encroach upon JDA land.
A case FIR number 22/2014 under Sections 420, 465, 466, 467, 468, 471, 120-B RPC has been registered against the accused.
The case was registered on a complaint made by Director Land Management, JDA, Jammu, according to which forged NOC was prepared and used by Shamas-ud-Din in respect of land measuring 30 kanals 13 marlas falling under Khasra number 167 of village Majeen tehsil and district, Jammu whereas, the said land had been acquired under the draft award dated 22-07-1995 by the JDA for the development of Satellite Township at Sidhra and that no such NOC was ever issued by the office.
