JAMMU, Aug 8: An unidentified cheat created fake Facebook account of Jammu University Vice-Chancellor Prof Manoj Dhar and sent unwanted messages to his FB friends, including requests for money.
The matter came into light when some FB friends of Prof Dhar telephonically contacted him this morning and informed about the messages requesting for money.
After coming to know about this, Prof Dhar immediately posted a message on his original FB account cautioning people not to accept any request from the fake account or from any other social media account. A complaint in this regard has also been lodged with the Cyber Crime Cell of J&K Police, he told the Excelsior.
