JAMMU, Mar 18: Jodhamal Public School has already been undergoing various exchange programmes with various schools at National and International level under ISA Activities of British Council.
The National Level Workshop by British Council at Delhi was another addition to move one step ahead towards its International dimensions.
The British Council, an International organization for cultural relations and educational opportunities, organized a workshop on International core skills for Leaders and Teachers that was attended by the Vice Principal Monika Sethi, ISA Coordinator Bhawna Madaan, and Academic Coordinator Ranju Malhotra at Hotel Pullman, Aerocity, New Delhi.
It was a global education programme designed to help leaders and teachers globally aware and globally competitive in the 21st Century. This will help the school to integrate various core skills like Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Creativity and Imagination, Communication and collaboration, Citizenship, Digital Literacy and Student Leadership and Personal Development into the curriculum.
The workshop included learning on Digital Technologies that are becoming embedded in more and more aspects of our lives, work and social relationships. Developing Digital Literacy is an increasingly important area of concern in schools.
Jodhamal School would be the First Digital School in the J&K State by inculcating Digital Literacy in various forms of School Curriculum.
