RAJOURI, Mar 18: Kalakote police recovered 30 stolen goats and sheep and arrested two persons in this connection.
Reports said that Kalakote police party led by SI Navneet Verma under the supervision of SHO Kalakote Parmod Singh Bajju, intercepted a vehicle No. JK-14/7914 at a naka point last night and recovered 30 sheep and goats stolen from Beragoa village of Kalakote. The police arrested two persons in this connection and registered a case FIR No. 14/2016 against them. They were identified as Javaid Ahmed, son of Ali Mohd and Mohd Ishaq, resident of Chattipora in Shopian. They were planning to move to Kashmir via Reasi, Udhampur and Ramban.
