PRP for immediate filling up of vacant posts of doctors, staff

SRINAGAR, Mar 18: The Peoples Republican Party (PRP) has demanded filling up of posts of doctors, para -medical staff and other vacant posts in Health Department in Ganderbal district immediately.
The demand was made by PRP chief Mir Ghulam Rasool who along with a delegation of the Party called on CMO Ganderbal today and discussed the problems being faced by the people due to shortage of doctors and other para medical staff in hospitals of the district.
Mir said that shortage of doctors and other staff is cause of concern in this vital department and it has put the health care system in the area to shambles.
He said 72 posts of doctors including 17 dentals surgeons, 10 pharmacists, six theatre assistants, 11 X Ray technicians, 3 senior Xray technicians, 17 nurses and other posts are lying vacant in the district which needed to be filled up immediately.
