Faculty Development Program concludes at MIER

JAMMU, Oct 11: Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of MIER Jammu successfully concluded its Faculty Development Program (FDP) to enhance the professional capabilities of its academic and non-academic staff.
The program spanned seven days and brought together a diverse group of educators from various disciplines within the College of Education. The program aimed to provide a platform for faculty members to engage in collaborative learning, hands-on activities, exchange innovative teaching methodologies, and stay abreast of the latest advancements in their fields.
Topics covered in the FDP included orientation on TEL policy, benchmarking policy, use of interactive panels, AI in Education, blended course development using Moodle, free tools for research, and use of AI tools in the office.
The resource persons were Prof Adit Gupta (Principal MIER), Prof Mool Raj (Controller Examination, MIER), Shashank (People Link), Dr Deepti Malhotra (Department of Computer Science and IT, Central University of Jammu), Prof Nishta Rana (School of Education, MIER) and Abha Choudhary (Certified Life, Emotional Intelligence and Executive Coach, Chandigarh).
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Adit Gupta (Director and Principal MIER) said that the College is committed to preparing the educators and leaders of tomorrow who excel in multidisciplinary fields in which training programmes play a vital role.
