KAKRYAL, Jan 25: The 34th meeting of the Finance and Audit Committee (FAC) of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital (SMVDNSH), Kakryal, was held here and undertook comprehensive review of the hospital’s functioning.
The meeting chaired by Simrandeep Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, took several important decisions aimed at further enhancing the hospital’s capacities for providing patient care of highest standards. The decisions included expanding and upgrading diagnostic and treatment facilities in consonance with the emerging requirements.
The meeting was attended by R. K. Gupta, CA; Ravi Magotra, former Director General Accounts and Dr. (Brig) Man Mohan Harjai, Chief Administrative Officer, SMVDNSH from the Shrine Board side. Those who took part in the FAC’s meeting deliberations on behalf of NVDSHPL / NH included A. Nagarajan, Senior Vice President Finance, NH; Cdr. Navneet Bali, Director Northern Region, NH; K. S. Dattatreya, Facility Director and Shashi Prakash, Head Finance of the hospital.
The FAC also reviewed the to-date status of empanelment of SMVDNSH with the various organisations for providing cashless treatment as well as signing of MoU with the ECHS and underscored the need for expanding and upgrading diagnostic and treatment facilities and taking all the requisite measures, wherever required, in the best interest of the patient care.
The FAC while undertaking review of the public outreach programmes organised by the hospital as part of providing free consultation services to the people nearer their homes, stressed the need for making people of such areas adequately aware about these services.
While taking stock of the progress in regard to commencement of Chemotherapy and Endoscopy facilities at the Jammu OPD Centre of the SMVDNSH, the FAC emphasised for ensuring expeditious commencement of these facilities for convenience of the patients.
