SRINAGAR, Jan 8: Intensifying the removal of encroachments and demolishing of illegal structures constructed on the banks of river Jehlum and its tributaries besides around the flood channel, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Farooq Ahmad Shah alongwith team of officers supervised the demolition drive on the banks of Doodh Ganga here today.
Among others, Chief Engineer Irrigation & Flood Control, officers of Srinagar Municipal Corporation and Police Department accompanied.
Mr. Shah enjoined upon the officers concerned to dismantle the illegal constructions and warned those people involved in encroachments of dire consequences.
