JAMMU, Nov 16: Continuing his election campaign in favour of PDP candidates, senior leader PDP Vikramaditya Singh today addressed public meeting at Rajpora, Ghagwal in Hiranagar constituency of Kathua district.
Explaining the important role of the youth in a democratic system, Vikramaditya Singh said that the youth have a power to bring desirable and suitable change in the society and the country as well.
He urged upon the youth of Jammu division to exercise their right to franchise in favour of honest and dedicated candidates so that overall development of the State is ensured.
Expressing confidence in forming a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Government after the election, he promised that effective policies for the youth will be launched in order to empower them so that they can play a decisive role in the progress and development of the State.
Singh further said that the farmers are the backbone of the society and progress of the State, adding that the PDP Government will leave no stone unturned to ensure that every facility to the farmers regarding irrigation, seeds and fertilizers is provided to them so that they can live a happy and prosperous life.
Speaking on the occasion, PDP leader retd Major General RS Jamwal said that PDP only understands the dignity of Dogras and would restore that.
People’s Democratic Party candidate from Hiranagar Suraj Parkash, Satpal Singh Charak Chairman PDP Kissan Cell, Ashok Jain, Sudarshan Choudhary, and Ganga Ram also expressed their views.
