UDHAMPUR, Nov 16: BJP organized a massive public meeting at Ossu Kera today in which people from surrounding areas participated.
The people raising pro-Modi and pro BJP slogans resolved to ensure victory of Party at the hustings so that a first ever BJP Government is installed in the State.
Addressing the meeting BJP candidate from Udhampur Pawan Khajuria made a dig at those who were till yesterday swearing on the name of Party and have now started opposing its policies and programmes.
Khajuria while cautioning the people against such elements said that loyalty of a person to the Party does not depend on grant of mandate only. But a faithful activist of the Party will continue to serve it as loyal whether he is considered for mandate or not.
The local people who addressed the meeting alleged that local MLA has failed to solve the problems in the area and he created a division in the area on the basis of caste.
Mr Khajuria assured the people that if elected he will take special interest in the development of Ossu Kera. Later Khajuria also addressed another meeting at Saial Sallan and people here also alleged that no one tried to solve their problems in last six years. They alleged that the condition of roads and lanes is bad and there is no proper distribution of ration.
Pawan Khajuria assured the people if elected he will work for the development of the area and redressal of people’s grievances.
Roshan Lal Gupta, Ashok Pachyala, Subash Gupta, Sat Paul Sallan and Hans Raj Nammi also addressed these meetings.
