JAMMU, Jan 3: Lauding the commitment and endeavour of the officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services towards the welfare of the State and its people, Chief Secretary B B Vyas today said the issues plaguing the service would be resolved at the earliest.
Interacting with the Executive Body of the J&K Administrative Service Officers Association, who called on him, the Chief Secretary underscored the need for making the KAS cadre more vibrant and effective. He asked the office bearers of the KAS Association to play proactive role towards streamlining this premiere administrative service of the State.
The Executive Body of the Jammu and Kashmir Adminis-trative Service Officers Association was led by its President Tasaduq Mir. It also included Vice President Anil Sharma, General Secretary Shahid Saleem, Publicity Secr-etary Waseem Raja, Treasurer, Rohit Sharma and Counsellors of the Association.
The Association held threadbare deliberations with the Chief Secretary on various issues confronting the KAS fraternity.
The Association also met the Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department regarding the issues facing the cadre and discussed the various possible solutions in this regard.
The Commissioner Secretary GAD assured the Association of his full support and cooperation in getting these issues resolved.
