JAMMU, Mar 14: Excise Department while continuing its drive against violations and malpractices conducted multi raids at several wine establishments in and around Jammu and Samba districts.
As per sources, the Excise Commissioner Rajesh Shavan has constituted different teams for carrying out raids under the supervisions of concerned ETOs.
The excise sleuths accordingly raided around 4 to 5 places simultaneously. They inspected Kashmir Bar, Cannon Bar, Bansi Wine Shop, Sukhvinder Wine Shop and Kashmir Bottlers.
Kashmir Bar was booked for violation under Excise Act for not keeping proper accounts and details of sale made.
Those who participated in the operation included Nipin Tickoo, ETO Excise Range South, Narinder Singh Anthal, ETO Eradication, Suraj Prakash, ETO Excise Range Samba and assisted by Inspectors Bikramjeet Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Susheel Khajuria, Renu Sharma and Anil Kumar.
