JAMMU, June 1: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone Danesh Rana advised newly posted Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) and DySPs to bring attitudinal change amongst lower subordinates so that the image of police becomes people friendly.
He stated this during meeting with the newly posted SDPOs at Zonal Police Headquarters, Jammu here today.
During interaction, IGP briefed the officers with regard to the challenges being faced by police viz militancy, crime, law and order etc in Jammu province.
Rana advised them to work with more dedication and devotion to prevent social crimes, drug trafficking, heinous and general crime in their area of responsibility. They were told to do exceptional works for preventing drug trafficking so that future of our young generation is not spoiled.
He advised the officers to work without any fear and favour and maintain highest standard of professionalism while dealing with any type of crime and situation which is the need of hour so that desired results are achieved.
The officers were inculcated to maintain highest standards of integrity and personal conduct so that they can become role models for the public in general and youth in particular.
