Ex-MLC takes up border migrants’ issues with DC

JAMMU, Oct 13:  Chief spokesperson of Pradesh Congress Committee and former MLC, Ravinder Sharma  visited the border migrant camp, Nowshera and enquired about their problems.
Some of the migrants complained that they have been evicted from their rooms forcibly where they are putting  for the  last 4-5 months after migration from border. The accommodation was already overcrowded and they are thrown out, compelling them to live under open sky, where there is danger of snake bite, mosquitoes etc.
Sharma met the District  Development Commissioner, Rajouri and made him aware of the problems of these migrants, who gave patient hearing to the problems and assured  Sharma that their problems would be looked into.
The Ex-MLC was accompanied  by Master Som Nath, Ramji Dass, Mukund Lal, Advocate Gourav Sharma, Raj Kumar ad other local Congress leaders.
