Ex MLA Rafiabad, others join AIP

JAMMU, June 23: Dozens of political workers hailing from various political parties joined Awami Itihad Party (AIP) in the function organized to welcome Ex. MLA, Rafiabad Ghulam Muhammad Khan at Ladoora Rafiabad today.
On the occasion AIP president, Er. Rasheed appealed masses to unite and give a decisive mandate to People’s United Front (PUF), so that sufferings of Kashmiris are represented at all platforms in a manner they deserve to be represented. On the occasion G.M Khan said that time is ripe for people to support AIP as a vibrant alternative.
In his speech, Er. Rasheed said “those talking about division of votes in Kashmir Valley are suffering from sense of insecurity as they have started realizing the fact that Kashmiris will punish them for their misdeeds”. Had NC leadership delivered on ground during past 70 years, today it would have been least concern for them who joins politics or how many political parties are taking birth in the State”.
Er. Rasheed asked New Delhi not to try suppress Kashmiris and not to forget that except might nothing lies on New Delhi side. He said “by just talking about governance, nepotism and corruption Governor is trying to create a perception as if Kashmir dispute is all about bad governance and good governance but the reality is that whatsoever uncertainty in Kashmir, it has a long history of broken promises spread over an era of 70 years.
He said legitimate rights of Kashmiris should not be kept hostage to the choice and arrogance of ultra-nationalists and New Delhi must come clean about its plans of resolving Kashmir dispute”.
