Ex-MLA projects Kalakote issues

RAJOURI, Apr 30:   Former Legislator and senior Congress leader Ashok Sharma (Coordinator AICC Vichar Vibhag) has urged upon the youth of the State to shun violence  and work for the equitable development of the state and strengthen unity and integrity of the country.
During public meeting  at Kalka Mathani in Kalakote area of Rajouri today, Sharma stressed the need to frame separate youth policy for the Jammu and Kashmir State. He said the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is totally different  and the Govt of India should deal with the youth of  this State in different way.
The Congress leader projected the issues of the people, which included bad condition of roads, shortage of water and power supply, non-availability of ration, poor health care facilities etc.  He pointed out that    many MGNREGA workers have not been paid their pending wages for the last about two years while the concerned minister on the floor of the House claimed that pending MGNREGA liabilities  have been cleared.
Sharma claimed that many development projected started during NC-Congress regime have been stalled by the PDP-BJP Government.  He said many roads in the area need immediate attention but the concerned agencies  have abandoned  the same. He demanded NES Block status, Higher Secondary, Police Station and CHC for Mathani.
