JAMMU, Feb 23: Former MLA of Reasi constituency, ex-MLC and Chief Parliamentary Secretary in J&K Government under Indian National Congress, Bansi Lal Kohistani passed away today at Gandhi Nagar, Jammu due to age related weakness.
He was 92 years old and is survived by two sons and four daughters. The cremation shall take place tomorrow at 12 noon at Jogi Gate, Jammu.
The late leader jumped into politics in 1967 after resigning from the Government service. He contested Assembly elections from Reasi constituency on Congress ticket and registered victory.
