JAMMU, July 18: Former JMC Mayor, Ch Manmohan Singh along with many senior citizens of Nanak Nagar started the work of up-gradation of lanes by way of black topping on the main road of sector-3 & sector-5 from Ward office of ward-42.
This was the promise of Vijay Choudhary Corporator in the election and she fulfill the long pending demand of the local residents of the area.
This was the part of project which has been started by the Vijay Choudhary from Sector-1, main road of Lane No 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and its by lanes as well. The residents had raised the demand of black topping of these particular lanes since long and hence were very appreciative of Mrs Vijay Choudhary, when the work started today.
Choudhary said that the black toping of sector-1 has been completed about 90% of the total area. He assured the people of the area that the work of upgradation of the drains would be started shortly after rainy season is over.
