JAMMU, Aug 20: Govt Employees & Workers Joint Action Committee (EWJAC) has demanded removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre and increase of Medical allowance of the employees.
In a meeting of the committee held here under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik, the speakers demanded resolution of their pending issues, which included removal of pay anomalies, increase of Medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 2000, regularization of daily wagers/ contractual workers and merger of 50 % DA into basic pay.
They sought the intervention of Chief Minister in resolving their long pending demands.
