Every habitation in Ramnagar to have metalled road connectivity: Pathania

RAMNAGAR, Feb 23: Spokesperson J&K BJP, Ranbir Singh Pathania, while addressing largely attended meetings at Jandrore, Nalla Mallian, Sari, Kanah and Ramnagar said that fully macadamised, all weather roads for all the habitations of Ramnagar are in offing as road projects worth Rs 100 crore will take off soon.
He said Chowki-Ghordi, Chowki-Katwalat, Massal-Gadani, Chowki-Dalsar (via Kanah,Gurlang), Dheeran-Chauntra Mata, Kaghote-Dalsar, Babey-Goswami Tallai and many other road links will be macadamised and public will have access to all weather roads.
Recalling his tenure as legislator in 2015, Pathania said there was hardly any macadamised road link and public was entirely dependent on fair weather kuccha road links, adding that he undertook a mission so that every habitation should have access to black topped, durable and qualitative roads.
He further said that road projects worth Rs 800 crores already stand sanctioned for Ramnagar Constituency and works are being executed at full swing on these road links.
Pathania informed that after swearing in as legislator from the area, upgradation of Ramnagar Basantgarh road has been his top priority and funds under various schemes have been sanctioned for the improvement and upgradation of Ramnagar-Dudu road.
He informed that BM work on Ramnagar-Padhraka section (Km 1st to 16th) has been approved and sanctioned under u/Towns and Cities Programme, Padhraka- Tibri-Shivgali (Km 16th – 36th) under CRF at cost of 28 crores, Km 36 to 60 u/PMGSY upgradation.
Pathania flung a stern warning to the opposition and said that Pulwama massacare is too sensitive an issue to play politics over.
He also called for immediate completion of work under DDUGJY in the entire block of Dudu-Basantgarh and immediate restoration of suspended power supply and restoration of water supplies in snow infested areas of Ramnagar.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion were Rajinder Sharma, Sham Lal Verma (Both Mandal Pardhans), Bikram Singh (Sarpanch), Onkar Chand (Sarpanch), Shakuntla Devi (Sarpanch), Jagmohan Singh (Sarpanch), Rakesh Kharka, Sunil Kumar, Master Gopal Dass, Rameez Sheikh and Makhan Bandral.
