JAMMU, Apr 28: Police today arrested a person for eve-teasing a girl hailing from Gangyal in the main bazaar at RS Pura.
As per police sources, Sanjay Kumar, son of Amar Chand, a resident of Dablair, R S Pura was passing some intolerable remarks to a Gangyal based girl in the main bazaar at RS Pura.
The girl raised alarm, locals rushed to the spot and caught hold of the accused and thrashed him severely.
On getting information, police team from RS Pura police station rushed to the spot and arrested the accused.
A case under FIR number 88/14 RPC has been registered at police station and investigation started.
