JAMMU, Dec 16: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) in collaboration with BLSKS staged a comedy play “Khulluney Ki Sooretey Kyya Hai” at Indra Colony, Janipur (Jammu), in its Monday Theatre series.
This play written and directed Vijay Malla was based on the facts of life and misunderstanding created by a particular letter by a family. That letter was not for any particular member of the family, but its contents created misunderstanding.
The letter reads “If you have taken loan you should repay it immediately otherwise you will face action”. As the letter has not been written to particular person, so every member begins suspecting and blaming each other. Everybody in the family recalls if he has taken any loan from any friend, relative or bank.
Finally a family friend is called for help who analyses the letter and its contents. He helps them and defines the actual meaning of the particular letter which according to him is “If anybody from their family has taken any loan they should pay back immediately”. The particular word ‘if’ is not considered so the confusion occurs. The family friend explains them that a particular social organization has sent this letter for the reforms in our society.
The play with creates some comic moments when the family members play blame game and finally vow not to take any loan in future.
Those acted in the play were Anuroop Pathania, Nazuk Bhagat, Kuldeep (singer), Laksh Bali, Vijay Jeetu, Surbhi Mahajan, Kamli Devi and Vijay Malla.
The play was written and directed by Vijay Malla and assisted by Anuroop Pathania.
