ESRM stages ‘Ghatak Plastic’

JAMMU, Nov 26: Ek Sath Rang Mandal today presented nukad “Ghatak Plastic” in its Monday Theater Series here today.
In the play, the artists asked the people to change their habits of using plastic goods in their daily life.
The nukad was based on awareness for not to use plastic bags and other goods made of plastic.
In the play, a young student was shocked on the death of cow that had swallowed a polythene bag from roadside. The boy’s family becomes panicky and calls a doctor. The boy in loud voice asked the people and his family members to not use plastic of any kind. “If we use plastic we die like cow”, the boys said in the play and asked to stop using plastic.
In the play, the doctor treating the boy calls a senior social worker who explained that polythene and plastic are poisonous for human being, animals and environment. The social worker added that as per survey about 26,000 plastic waste is collected every year in India.
The social worker also asked the people to stop using plastic of any kind.
A large number of people witnessed the Nukad.
The actors who acted were Dr Ripu Dhaman Parihar, Happy Gupta, Ashok, Vishant, Tarun, Aryan, Raghav, Daksh, Sagar, Sumit and Vijay Malla.
The play was written and directed by Vijay Malla.
