JAMMU, Dec 18: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) today presented Vijay Malla’s new awareness nukkad “Sahee Maarg” for children under its “Monday Theatre Series” at slum colony, Paloura-Janipur link road, Jammu.
The nukkad shows how a large number of children, particularly residing in slum colonies are still deprived of education in our country and in bad company these children go on wrong way. The nukkad stresses on the subject that we should provide ‘Sahee Maarg’ (right path) to these children.
As the nukkad opens, a girl child namely Khushi and her friends observe that there are so many poor children nearby who never attends any school and play whole day in the streets. They ask Khushi’s grandfather the reason for it, who explains them that there are several reasons for it, first being poor they cannot afford expenses on education and secondly they have no one to provide proper guidance.
Khushi along with her friends decide to visit their huts and explain them the value of education under guidance of their grandfather. One Sunday, they all visit them and explain them the importance of education and encourages them for it. They also plan their education in free education centers run/aided by Government.
All the deprived and poor children were very excited. Khushi and her friends decide to visit them every Sunday.
Actors who performed in the play were Baby Khushi, Qurat ul ain, Rukhsar, Kanta Sharma, Raju Mad, Ashok Sharma, Mohit, Ravinder, Shiv Kumar, Kanav Sharma, Dheeraj Sharma, Rohit Gupta and Vijay Malla.
This play was written and directed by Vijay Malla.
