ESRM presents ‘Akhri Padaw Mansik Tanaw’

JAMMU, July 30: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) presented a new awareness nukkad ‘Akhri Padaw Mansik Tanaw’ in its Monday Theatre Series at JMC Park, Pacca Talab, Rehari Chungi, here today.
The play revolves around an ex-army man, Gopinath, who is getting his pension and all those facilities, concessions and subsidies which are given to a soldier after retirement from the army. Gopinath has lost his wife few years back and now he is living with his son and daughter in law. He is happy with the treatment and respect which his children give him. He contributes his major share of pension for the welfare of family.
One day, as usual, all old people exchange their views in a park. Their friend Amarnath is depressed and sad enough by the behaviour of his children who humiliate and misbehave with him off and on. They want that Amarnath should distribute his all property immediately before his death.
All his friends decide that they will approach police and court for this matter. But Amarnath suggests them that they should try to convince his children, may be they will feel ashamed and apologize for their behaviour.
His friends convey their decision to his sons and even warm them of repercussions for their treatment towards their father. Amarnath’s children are ashamed and assure them that they will not repeat their mistakes now onwards. They even promise them that nobody from them will insist the father for any will.
Actors who acted in the nukkad were Raju Mad, Shelly Manhas, Kavita, Shahid and Vijay Malla. The nukkad was written and directed by Vijay Malla.
