EPFO organizes awareness program under “Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0” at GDCW Kathua

KATHUA, Mar 27: The Jammu office of Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) conducted an awareness program of “Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0” at Government Degree College for Women (GDCW) Kathua.
Speaking on the occasion, Rizwan Uddin, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, apprised the stakeholders about various initiatives undertaken by EPFO under “Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0” such as E-Nomination, UAN Activation, KYC Updation, Bank, Aadhar Seeding, Online ECR Filling, Salient Features of Employees Deposit Linked Insurance (EDLI) Scheme 1976, Employees’ Pension Scheme 1995 benefits for the Registered Employees and other benefits.
During the course of discussions, the members present raised numbers of issues pertaining to the EPFO Office and on spot directions were given by Rizwan Uddin to resolve the issues on priority basis.
The programme lasted for more than one hour, where Rizwan Uddin heard the issues being faced by the establishments and employees. A hand holding and interactive session continued for another hour in which various stakeholders went live and learnt how to deal with the problems faced by them.
The Nidhi Aapke Nikat program 2.0 was organized by District Nodal Officer Devinder Singh (EO/AO, EPFO) in joint collaboration with ESIC. Sheena Sharma (SSO, ESIC) also addressed the program alongside the Regional P F Commissioner. Pranav Gupta (Assistant Section Officer) and Shamsher Singh (Senior SSA) were also present on the occasion.
Along with the Principal of the College Dr Savi Behlin, there were various other dignitaries present in the program including Romika Bassin, Nodal Officer, GDCW Kathua, Praveen Tyagi (DGM, Chenab Textile Mills, Kathua), Satpal Mansotra (general secretary, J&K Private School Association).
Meanwhile, another awareness programme on “Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0” was also held at EPFO Office Ladakh by Sandeep Kumar and was attended by representatives of establishments and employees.
