Environmental pollution

Sir,
Environment is the natural surroundings or ecosystem in which we live. It comprises of floura and fauna as the living species. The problem of environmental pollution is a major concern for developing and developed nations these days. Degradation of environment has  disturbed the ecological balance resulting in food chain disturbances and health hazards. Environmental laws may not be sufficient to deal with the problem of environmental degradation unless we ourselves become nature friendly and make every possible  effort to save our natural resources and protect our environment. Apex Court in its number of judgments has laid down guidelines for  making pollution free environment a priority for safe and secure survival . No doubt it is a fundamental right to breathe in pollution free environment but it is also a fundamental duty to preserve and protect our environment.
