JAMMU, Oct 15: Jammu & Kashmir National United Front (JKNUF) working president (J&K) and national spokesperson, Rakesh Handu today urged the Government to ensure security of minorities and PM package employees in Kashmir valley following the recent attacks on them.
In a statement issued here, today he also urged the Government to tighten the security measures and ensure that no further exodus takes place from Valley.
Expressing concern over the plight of Kashmiri Pandits leading an exiled life outside, he said till date eight exodus have taken place from Kashmir. He regretted that the BJP which had always made a hue and cry when minorities were attacked in Valley has now completely failed to protect them.
He said the claims of Government not withstanding the terrorist violence has increased in J&K with minorities and armed forces becoming their targets. He urged the Government to adopt a fool proof strategy to deal with the anti nationals and ensure the security of the common man in the UT.
Meanwhile, Sunil Pandita a social activist at Jagti has also urged the Government not to force the employee of PM package to return Kashmir till security situation improves there. He said the minorities in Valley especially package employees are totally scared following fresh spurt of violence and Government should not coerce them to join duties in Kashmir till security scenario improves there.
