Ensure punctuality in schools: DDC Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, May 2: District Development Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana today chaired a meeting of officers of Education Department and took stock of issues and complaints.
A threadbare discussion were held on various issues like regular inspection of schools, checking of service books of teachers, maintenance of leave record accounts, duplicacy/proxy admissions of students in private schools of municipal areas etc.
The DDC directed the department to issue duly endorsed order for maternity leave , child care leave , medical leave etc. and enter the same in Service Book. He said laxity in this regard will invite strict disciplinary action against the erring officer(s).
He also directed concerned officers to strongly act against the practice of unauthorized absence of the teachers and ensure 100% punctuality.
Strict directions were passed by DDC to the concerned officers to undertake inspections as per Govt. order of all the schools in the district.
The DC deployed a Nodal Officer in his office for receiving the complaints with regard to absenteeism and their quick disposal.
