Ensure Govt ration to general public: MKU

JAMMU, Nov 10: Mazdoor Kissan Union (MKU) attacked the State Government for inadequate supply of Government ration to the depots, and for ensuring the ration to general public.
Addressing the press conference, G R Malhotra, president Mazdoor Kissan Union said that people are suffering due to shortage of Government ration, especially sugar and asked the Government and CAPD agency to check the supply line. He told that opening and availability of ration shops at least 20 days per month at all ration shops particularly falling in the rural areas where daily wagers are not able to buy their full ration with first week or only two or three days of opening of these ration shops every month.
Malhotra also suggested for active CAPD teams to ensure that proper ration and appropriate supply line is maintained.
The union has warned the concerned authorities to look into the grievances of the general public or else Mazdoor Union shall forcefully adopt some other path for which the authorities concerned will be responsible.
