JAMMU, Sept 22: Member Legislative Council (MLC) and chief spokesperson JKPCC Ravinder Sharma visited Dharat, Seri and Dabbar areas of Nowshera Sub Division and assessed the damage caused to the houses, crops, cattle, etc and also monitored the arrangements being made by the district administration after the devastating floods and rains.
During tour, Sharma met cross section of people and listened to their problems. The people projected problem of electricity which has not been restored due to damage of electric transformers, poles, wire etc.
Sharma announced to provide funds from his MLC’s CDF for augmentation of power supply in the area. He also provided funds for up-gradation of electric transformer at Morah Talla, Panchayat Dharat.
He also urged upon the concerned authorities to ensure availability of APL ration apart from free ration in all the flood affected areas of Nowshera and Sunderbani.
