JAMMU, Aug 22: Up in arms against delay in declaration of examination results of Engineering students, ABVP activists today held a protest demonstration at Jammu University.
The protest, led by Deepak Gupta, Ravail Parihar and Piyush Khajuria was joined by the aggrieved students of YCET, who raised slogans against the Controller Examination Jammu University. They marched towards the Controller Examination block and gheroed the Controller office.
According to Deepak Gupta, these Engineering students had appeared in the examination last month at MIET College where case of mass copying was registered and the exam of 8th Semester B E was re conducted in which they re appeared. Students said that they had to appear two times in the same exam although they were not at fault and further at the same time their result was withheld.
The Controller Examination Prof Kulwant Singh assured that the result would be declared within a day.
