SRINAGAR: An encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Anantnag district of Kashmir Valley today. “A gun fight broke out between security forces and militants in Shamspora area of Qazigund following an anti-militancy operation in the area,” a police spokesman said. He said there were no reports of any one getting injured in the operation so far. (AGENCIES)
