Whereas, 193 posts of Lecturers in Physical Education were referred to J&K Public Services Commission for selection of suitable candidates; and,
Whereas, the Secretary J&K Public Services Commission Vide No.PSC/DR/Lect.Phy.Edu-2014 Dated 03-02-2016 furnished the selection list of (193) candidates for appointment as Physical Education Lecturers in the Technical Education/ Youth Services and Sports Department. The selection list included Shri Koushal Kumar Sharma S/o Shri Kewal Krishan Sharma C/o Ravi Dutt Sharma, village Sangram Pur Tehsil & District Jammu (OM/RBA) and Tawseef Ahmad Bhat S/o Nissar Ahmad Bhat R/o Noohimai PO Yaripora District and Tehsil Kulgam (OM) figuring at S. Number 74 & 77 respectively; and,
Whereas, on the above said recommendations of the J&K Public Services Commission, formal appointment and posting orders were issued in respect of 193 candidates as Physical Education Lecturers in Youth Services and Sports Department vide Government Order No. 45-Edu(Tech) of 2016, dated 24-02-2016 issued under endorsement No. Edu/Tech/Phy/66/2013 dated 24.02.2016 which included the above said two candidates also and were posted respectively in HSS Pargwal, Jammu and BHSS Yaripora, Kulgam; and
Whereas, it was stipulated in the appointment order viz Government Order No. 45-Edu(Tech) of 2016, dated 24-02-2016 that the appointees shall be on probation for a period of two years and were required to join their place of posting within 21 days from the date of issue of the order failing which their appointment shall be deemed to have been cancelled; and
Whereas, the Director, Youth Services and Sports has reported that the above said two appointees have not joined their respective place of postings till date; and,
Whereas, the non-joining by the said appointees indicates that they are not willing/ interested in their appointment.
Now, therefore, keeping in view the above, the appointment of Sh/Shri Koshal Kumar Sharma S/o Shri Kewal Krishan Sharma C/o Ravi Dutt Sharma, village Sangram Pur Tehsil & District Jammu & Tawseef Ahmad Bhat S/o Nissar Ahmad Bhat R/o Noohimai PO Yaripora District and Tehsil Kulgam as Lecture Physical Education ordered vide Government Order No. 45-Edu(Tech) of 2016, dated 24-02-2016 issued under endorsement No. Edu/Tech/Phy/66/2013 dated 24.02.2016 is hereby cancelled, ab initio.
