RECRUITMENT OF FIELD INVESTIGATOR ON CONTRACT BASIS FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR.

Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for recruitment of 01 Field Investigator on contract basis for one year in the field office of National Sample Survey Organisation (Field Operations Division), Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation in Jammu. The selected Field Investigator will be put on the job of data collection in large scale sample surveys involving strenuous field visits both in rural and urban areas.
A.    Eligibility:
Indian citizens within age limit of 21-28 years as on closing date for receipt of applications i.e. 17th November 2015. Candidates holding Graduate degree with 50% or more marks having Statistics/ Commerce/ Math / Economics as one of the subjects and having fluency in local language and familiarity with local customs and traditions are eligible.
B.    Remuneration:
Field Investigator will be paid fixed consolidated salary of Rs. 16500/- per month towards remuneration and TA/DA, when on tour as under:
TA : Sleeper class fare by ordinary / express train or bus fare for ordinary or express bus or actual fare whichever is less.
DA: Rupees 150 per day in case touring does not involve stay in Hotel and Rupees 350 per day in case stay in hotel is necessary to continue Field work.
C.    How to Apply:
The application containing the information on advertisement No. Citizenship Name in Block letters, Father’s / Husband’s Name, Sex, Date of birth, Address/or communication, alongwith the e-mail, phone no., Permanent Address, Age as on 17th November 2015.
The applications completed in all respects and duly signed by the applicant by attaching the self- certified documents should reach to Office of the Deputy Director General, NSSO (FOD), H.No. 34, Sec- A, Extn. Sainik Colony, Jammu on or before 17th November, 2015. Candidates must affix their recent Passport size photograph on right -top corner of the application.
