KISHTWAR, July 29: J&K SFC Employees Union Chenab Valley, Kishtwar, has expressed its serious concern over the delay in disbursement of monthly salaries of employees of the Chenab valley in particular and entire State in general.
An emergency meeting of the executive members of the union was held today under the chairmanship of Madan Lal Parihar, district president of the union, to discuss the delay in disbursement of monthly salaries of the employees.
The speakers in the meeting lamented that despite Chenab Valley being main area for carrying out the extraction activities in the SFC for the year, the employees were deprived of due salaries in time. “This attitude of the management towards the employees does not only affect their working but also results in the mental and social harassment,” they said and threatened to adopt agitational path of the salaries are not released by first week of every month.
