KATHUA, Jan 9: A large number daily wagers and other low paid employees held protest demonstration at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park here today.
The employees and pensioners besides village guards under the banner of All J&K Low Pad Employees Federation assembled at the Park and started protest demonstration. Veteran trade union leader Abdul Majid Khan was leading. The speakers projected the demands of the employees, pensioners and village guards and criticised the Government for causing delay in resolving their issues. They also demanded immediate release of 10 % DA and enhancement of Medical allowance.
